Novy ProfessorshipThe Department of Dermatology in the School of Medicine at the University of California, Davis seeks candidates for its Frederick G. Novy, Jr. M.D. Professor position.

The Frederick G. Novy, Jr. M.D. Professor will be a nationally recognized scholar and clinician whose role would emphasize clinical education. He or she will serve in a leadership capacity for educational issues in the department including a strong involvement with the dermatology residency program and medical student curriculum in the area of dermatology. The responsibility will also include the oversight of the Volunteer Clinical Faculty Program, Grand Rounds, Novy Lecture Series, and community interactions. This person would undertake clinical, educational, scholarly, and publication commitments and would play an active role in the Department, the Medical School, UC Davis Health System, and the community. The individual filling this position should have an MD, board certification in Dermatology, and credentials sufficient to be appointed to the full or upper associate level in the Professor of Clinical Dermatology series. Individuals with an interest and background in education research will be preferentially considered.
