NORPLANT AND ACNE ====================== From: Daniel F Mitchell Norplant is known to exacerbate acne. I recently had a pt who had minimal acne prior to Norplant, none during, then significant papulopustular acne beginning one month after Norplant and continuing for over six months. Had it removed after several months because of other side effects (GI) and then had her face explode with conglobate lesions.
