EPIDERMOLYSIS BULLOSA ---------------------------------------------------------------------- An OB-GYN on staff here in Denver has asked for information regarding pregnancy outcome and complications in patients with junctional or dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa. I can find nothing on medline or an AltaVista web search. Any thoughts or experiences are appreciated. Paul Gillum ----------- The pregnancy complications of junctional epidermolysis bullosa depends on the subtype. For the generalized atrophic benign subtype, there appears to be no complications in the four cases that I am aware of. The more severe subtypes usually don't reach the age where they can reproduce.
