DARIER'S DISEASE

This is a disorder that responds irratically at best to treatment--An old
patient of mine who had been helped with Accutane in the past now returns
after a two year absence with severe scalp and truncal flare--He has been
hospitalized for pneumonia and his Darier's is improving on the antibiotics
he's on for his lungs(Biaxin and Cephalosporin)-- this prompts me to inquire
of this group for their favorite treatment for Darier's--

I not infrequently find HSV superinfection, so Acyclovir.

Antibiotics...say Duricef, and tapering dose of steroids.  The 
suggestion concerning herpes is relevant, and I'll probably do the 
same in the future.
