The Title Page Thank-you for being patient with a rather rigid format. The reason behind this format is to permit a simple text version to be automatically parsed to create a version for the Web. We plan to store your work in simple text and to derive a web version according to current browser support. Note that for each section the title appears in with a capitalized word followed by a colon and no space (Title:, Author:, Affiliation:, Keywords:) before the sepcific information. Each author is followed by his or her specific affiliation on the subsequent line (but for the purposes of PubMed, only the first author's affiliation will be listed). List the authors in the order that you wish them to appear in the article. For each author, list the appropriate affiliations as you wish them to appear in the published version. You may suggest as many Keywords as you like. Use commas to separate key words and do not double space. Even though the PubMed version lists authors first and middle initials, you may give a first and middle name. However, for authors with mulitle names, you would best indicate to us how those should be grouped. John Smith Jones could be interpreted as JS Jones or J Smith Jones (if Smith Jones is a compound last name). Likewise Mary Beth Murphy could be interpreted as M Murphy (if Mary Beth is a compound first name), MB Murphy (if Beth is the middle name), or M Beth Murphy (if Beth Murphy is a compound last name). If an author has compound names not normally indicated with a hyphen, please indicate the grouping with quotation marks (e.g., a compound last name would be indicated as Mary "Beth Murphy").
