Introduction to the NYU Case Presentations

The Tuesday Evening Clinical Conferences have a long tradition in the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at New York University Medical Center. Currently, conferences are organized by Nicholas A. Soter, M.D., and are held five times each academic year. They provide an opportunity to view patients recruited from the Charles C. Harris Skin and Cancer Pavilion, Bellevue Hospital Center, New York Veterans Affairs Harbor View Health Care Center, and the practices of the full-time and volunteer attending staffs. The protocols for these interesting and unusual cases are prepared by the resident physicians. An interactive patient discussion is led by an attending physician for dermatologists, resident physicians, clinical fellows, and medical students.
